That mutants actually have/had a shot at winning but Moira decided to give up because she didn't know? But this isn't really implied by the writing either. Moira deciding on the cure after coming to the decision that it's hopeless to keep fighting, and essentially just giving up is a possible angle, after all she's entitled to be incredibly weary and jaded after so many lives. Moira always planning to cure mutants all along makes no sense, because she dedicated 6 lives and thousands of years to fighting for mutantkind, it comes out of nowhere and doesn't fit. And the Omega Sentinel timeline seems to imply so.Īdditionally Moiras cure plan was either her master plan all along since Life 3 OR something she was keeping in the backpocket, a collective cyanide pill for mutantkind to give up in the face of inevitable extinction. Regarding the pre-cog ban and avoidance of Destiny, previously it was implied that Moira didn't want everyone knowing that mutants always lose.īut Krakoa is the new thing that was never tried before, a potential solution where Mutants win. Moira wants to cure mutants like in Life 3, except this time she wants all mutants to become human and for the to be no more mutants. Omega Sentinel comes from the timeline where Mutants Always Win, proving it is possible especially through the Krakoan model. ![]()
